Over the years I have led many exciting walking holidays to all parts of the world, with one of the country’s leading specialist travel companies, Spencer Scott Travel Services. In 2011, the boots will be flying with me again as I jet off to two more exciting walking destinations

The first is to Iceland and Greenland in June, a fantastic time of year to visit these two fascinating countries – a welcome return to two beautiful places. The second is to Sikkim and Darjeeling in the Indian Himalayas with stunning views of the snow-capped Himalayas, lovely people and fantasic walking. This will be a return to this exciting part of the world after the successful 2010 trip.

Silva Map and Compass Courses

I am proud to be sponsored by Silva Ltd UK – the makers of the world’s finest compasses. Together we run the Silva Navigation School which for seven years has trained hundreds of walkers, cyclists and Trec Horse riders in map and compass skills. These courses provide outdoor enthusiasts with essential navigation skills.
